Big Baby Apologizes to Little Baby

So moments after Glen "Big Baby" Davis hit the game winning shot in Game 4 verse the Orlando Magic he runs up the court in celebration. Mid celebration he pushes a kid out of the way in excitement, and as I was watching this live I found myself laughing. Something I have to ask though is what the HELL was the kid doing there in the first place?!?! The kid was apparently 12 years old and his father has demanded an apology from Davis. Big Baby has apologized, but I say what does he have to apologize for? He was just showing emotion as he ran down the court and set aside a kid that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Lets face it Big Baby will never hit a shot like that again in his career. Plus lets look at the situation, Davis is a BIG MAN and the little kid is just as I say, little. I think any sort of contact is going to move him out of the way. I don't know about you but I would be happy if that happened to me. SO STOP WHINING KID!!!

Retirement?

So how many times are these sports superstars going to retire. Call me crazy but I was under the impression that when you retired it meant you stopped playing your sport. Yet we see stars like Michael Jordan, Brett Favre, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. making returns to playing the games that they once played. I just don't get it. Make up your mind guys!!! If you feel the need to come back then you are obviously retiring for the wrong reasons. You are supposed to retire because you feel there is nothing more you can bring to the game, or for injury reasons, not because you want the publicity! So I'm here to tell all you superstar athletes out there...if you are going to retire, STAY RETIRED!!!

Good Investment?

So with the Yankees spending a quarter of a billion dollars this summer...the question still remains, was it a good investment? With the severe under performance of CC Sabathia I think its fair to say that so far it hasn't been looking good. Sabathia is 2 and 3 with a 3.94 ERA, I don't think this is what they are paying him for!!! Even though Sabathia and the Yankees are both notorious slow starters Yankee fans are getting restless. If these guys don't start performing soon we may see a riot at the next home game. 15 and 16 through 31 games, this is not a championship team performance.

Lebron lives up to his name!!!

So when Lebron James came into the league people were wondering why they call him the King or the Chosen One when he hadn't even done anything yet. For all those doubters (which I don't think there were too many) and all you haters I think we are seeing what Lebron James is really capable of. The Cavs are now 8-0 in the playoffs and it looks like they are going to roll right into the Finals. Is it just me or can this guy get to the basket from ANYWHERE on the court. He makes defenders look like they are standing still. I don't know how many of you have seen the movie Space Jam, but when Michael Jordan stretches his arm from half court to dunk the ball, I really believe Lebron James can do that. I'm ready for the sequel Space James!!!

Mets winning streak

So the Mets had a 7 game winning streak and with their best pitcher on the mound tonight what did they do?? THEY BLEW IT!!! Is there some reason why they can't hit for Johan Santana? It makes no sense, you have the best pitcher in the game, I think his ERA is like .73, and you cant even get 3 runs for him? The bullpen blew it anyway because Feliciano can't pitch to righties...he gets SMACKED!!! So now the Mets are on a one game losing streak, this ain't good.

So today...

So today...we played a little friendly football game, kid decides he wants to come across the middle on me! What the fuck was he thinking?!?!? Well we collided and he went down to the ground hard, keep in mind all of this was unintentional. Damn man, I was like a brick wall, sucks for him. So as I am writing this blog this little bitch from down the hall wants to come in my room and threaten us telling me and my roommate to "Watch our back" This coming after a series of pranks that were mainly focused on him. I don't know who he thinks he is messing with, but if he is not careful he is going to get ODed on. By the way this all came after he pranked us first, BIG MISTAKE!!!
